Introducing Strowhiro Law

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Michelle Strowhiro, an employment lawyer based in Southern California. And today, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my boutique employment law firm: Strowhiro Law.

Strowhiro Law supports employers with trusted legal counsel on all matters of employment, personalized to their specific business, employees, & culture.

Strowhiro Law is a solo practice, but this launch would not have happened without the support of so many. To my husband, Jamie Strowhiro, thank you for your endless love & support. You always push me to do what makes me happy & nothing makes me happier than going on this new adventure with you. I also want to thank our kids who so sweetly have asked me for updates on this career shift on a daily basis, excited that it means seeing more of their mom. I’m soaking up every ounce of that love.

I want to thank #lawtwitter. I started using Twitter during the pandemic for breaking legal news. I never could have anticipated what would come next. I wrote a Twitter thread on which pen is the best (spoiler: it’s TUL) which led to the #lawtwitter community dubbing me #penfluencer. That nickname makes me smile daily. It’s what inspired the quill in the Strowhiro Law logo.

And thank you for the calls, encouragement, & support Matt Margolis, Robert Freund, Karen Delaney, Karen S. Vladeck, Sean Marotta, Michelle K. Camp, Ashley Herd, & so many others. Jonah Perlin, your #HowILawyer podcast has influenced me more than you know. I'm grateful to call all of you my friends.

Making the change from #biglaw to #teenylaw comes with some new decisions for me, including a lot of fun ones. Particularly of note: Strowhiro Law swag. I already have a few pen x crochet crossover ideas in the works!

I’m ecstatic to embark on this new path with your support! Stay tuned for more Strowhiro Law updates. And now, time to get to work!
